The Angel came in, To Mary and began,
Explaining the event.

None to compare, She was to bare,
A child heaven sent.

Needing cover, There was none other,
So a manger He lay in.

A child was born, So Christmas morn.
Gods love did descend.

The scriptures tell, Of Emmanuel,
And Mary kissed His cheek.

Then came the time, For a star to shine,
On wise men from the east.

Bearing gifts, Dispelling myths,
They placed them at His feet.

Joseph sighed, and Mary cried,
While the baby lay in sleep.

The Holy Ghost, Did work the most,
Precious gift for men.

A point in time,
A way to find, Forgiveness for their sin.

They had to run,
Before the sun, Escaping by a breath.

For Jesus came, For mans shame,
To die but not just yet.

Into a land, with Gods hand,
To rest just for a spell.

Joseph discerned, they would return,
Just when he could not tell.
