She Tells The Disciples

Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her. John 20:18 NIV

Mary did as Jesus instructed her, going to the disciples and letting them know that she had seen Him alive and the message she was told to relay to them. John does not mention of unbelief of the disciples as to seeing the Lord risen. To read that fact we must refer to either Mark 16 or Luke 24. Later in Luke 24 when the Lord finally appears to the disciples He rebuked them for their unbelief.

Yes, Jesus was raised from death and so are we raised spiritually from death when we believe in Christ and all that He has done for us. Live a life of resurrection from death to sin!

Do you lovingly hear the Lord call your name? He does so, and you can be certain of that. He loves you enough that He bore your sins on the cross that you might have eternal life through Him. Let the depth of His love for you fill your heart and soul forever!
