Jared: With all due respect, Adam, sir, we are in a world of trouble, based on your choices. Enosh: Yes, Adam, the lad is right. You and Eve too, of course, have combined to make things difficult for all of us. Adam: Don't you think we already know that, and regret it together on a daily basis? Kenan: But that regret doesn't change things or make it any easier for us. Eve: But there is nothing we can do about it now, so why do you keep bringing it up to us? Mahalalel: Probably because they keep seeing the effects and consequences of your choice all around us: the weather, the crops, the sickness, the hurting relationships, you name it. Adam: That's enough, Mahalalel. Enoch: Adam and Eve, I want you to know that I don't blame you. I realize that I would have done the same if not worse had I been in your place. Eve: I appreciate that, Enoch. Both Adam and I appreciate that. Adam: Yes, we do. Enoch: What I want to know is what it was like before that fateful Fall. What was your fellowship with God like back then? Adam: Great question. If I were to sum it up in one word only, I would say.....lighthearted....spontaneous....or... affectionate. Eve: That's not just one word, Adam, how about...worshipful...worshipfully curious. Adam: That's not one word either, Eve. Maybe it can't be summed up in just one word after all.
