His Concern

When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home. John 19:26-27 NIV

Jesus is hanging on a cross, dying, and yet His concern is not over His ending earthly life, but is instead thinking about the well-being of His mother. And so, He tells her that now John shall be her son and He tells John that now Mary is his mother. What a beautiful sign of love and concern from a dying man.

I hope you know all the love and concern that Jesus has for each of you. He died for you that you may have life eternal through Him. Never doubt the love which the Lord has for you. No one else could possibly love you with the deepness of love that Jesus has for you.
