Your Love In Them

“I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." John 17:26 NIV

Christ ends His prayer to the Father by expressing His desire for the Father’s love to be in those who belong to Him and that He, Christ, might also abide with them. Of course, the them refers to us today as well. Yes, Jesus desires that the love of the Father, and the love of the Son would abide in all. We just must accept that love, turn our lives over to Christ, and be obedient to the directing of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Through the indwelling Holy Spirit, Gods word, the love of the Father and the Son, and time in prayer with Him we have that which we need to be a part of Christ’s body and through our words and actions to be the Lord’s vessel. Let us lovingly and obediently serve Him!
