Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” -Genesis 3:1-10 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because all sinned – Romans 5:12 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead – 1 Corinthians 5:21 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven - 1 Corinthians 15:45-47


Word of the Lord:

Adam and Eve lived and walked in God’s glory in Eden. They were immortals who could have lived forever. They were perfect and spotless. Without sin, without blemish, without wrinkle, without shame, without weakness, and without sorrow. They lived in the atmosphere of God’s presence in the garden of Eden until the day they sinned against God by eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 3). The devil, the old serpent deceived Eve into eating the fruit. He lied to her that she will become like God if she eats it. Eve fell for the lies and ate the fruit. And then compelled Adam to do the same. Immediately their eyes were opened and they discovered they were naked (Genesis 3). The immortality and the glory they had all along left their bodies immediately after they sinned. It was a case of I-CHA-BOD which means the glory has departed. They could no longer reside or abide in the realm of glory because they had committed sin. In no time, they were sent out of the garden of God. They no longer had access to the tree of life and the other trees in the garden. And worst of all, they lost the close relationship they had with God and became mere mortals. Through Adam’s fall, sin and death entered into mankind. Automatically all offspring of Adam and Eve became sinful and mortal (Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 5:21). Since the fall, every child that has been born into the world has been born with a sinful nature. Sin and mortality became the nature of men. But as you can see in the beginning it wasn’t so. The trinity God-head thought about it all and decided to send God the Son to die for the redemption of mankind (John 3:16). He came as the second/last Adam and was born into the world a mortal without sin (1 Corinthians 15:45-47 ). He lived for 33 years, died, and was resurrected to save mankind from sin, restore man to God and begin a new era for mankind (Hebrews 2:10). When he was in the grave, he defeated death and the devil in hades and he rose victoriously from the dead (Colossians 2:15). When Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead, he rose as an immortal. He became the firstborn from the dead (Colossians 1:19; 1 Corinthians 15:20) and became the only way to heaven and to the Father (John 14:6). With faith in Jesus Christ, believing men and women could find their way back to Eden i.e. back to a close relationship with God (James 4:8; Colossians 1:20) If you have not known the Lord Jesus Christ and have not accepted him as Lord and Saviour, now is the day of your salvation.
God wants to transform your life and have a close relationship with you. He wants you to live and walk in His glory but you can not do that if are not born again. I encourage you to accept Lord Jesus Christ as Lord today. If you are ready to accept the Lord, please say this prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, come into my life. I accept you as my Lord and saviour. Forgive me my sins. Write my name in the book of life. I believe you died and were resurrected on the third day. I believe you are the son of GOD. Thank you, LORD, for saving me. Now I know I am born again. Now I know I am saved. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. If you have just said the prayer or you have said it long ago, I congratulate you. Ensure you do not go back to sin. Do read your bible every day, pray to God every day, attend a bible believing church, and evangelize. You have been saved, so preach to others so they can also be saved. Shalom

Father GOD, bring me back to your glory. Let me walk and reside in your glory. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name.
