But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. John 16:13 NIV

If there had been any concern on the disciple’s part that they would miss out on something important which Jesus wanted them to know, this statement by Christ should have removed such fear. The same goes for us today who follow the Lord.

The Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit does reveal all about Christ that we may know what Christ asks of us, what He does for us. The Spirit teaches only Truth, the Truth about Jesus Christ. We have the best of teachers for the word of God, God’s Spirit indwelling us. All which Jesus wishes us to know shall be revealed by the Holy Spirit, each Truth at its appointed time.
