Though unseen, I sense it.
Something is in the air.
Like a flame which is just lit,
it seems to flicker here and there.

Nothing seems to bother me,
as though care is left behind.
Spinning closer to eternity,
revealed as this world unwinds.

Terrorists are just a thorn.
They hold no fear for me.
My soul, in Jesus, has been reborn.
It rests in Him securely.

Nothing will be normal again.
This life will soon be a memory.
The world brought down by sin.
Filed in the trash heap of history.

Don't fear, the Lord is on His throne.
Nothing happens He doesn't allow.
Something's in the air, a new dawn.
It's time to trust Jesus now.
