You were with me when I faced the unknown.
In waiting rooms, you patiently waited.
Your presence assured me I wasn't alone,
and even now, your patience hasn't abated.

You stepped in and took the reins,
when someone else gave up their place.
Your devotion to me, easing my pains.
Surely, I have beheld an angel's face.

You are still always there for me,
making sure that my needs are met.
Surely, this is an angel's face I see,
and to you, I will always be in debt.

I thank my Father always for you,
for your being there as I run this race.
Only His best, do I ask for you.
May others, like me, behold an angel's face.
