Today is meant to be Happiness Day—shining bright and clear. That was the original Divine Plan.

But as time ticks by, people start doing and saying the wrong things. We react to them with sarcastic remarks. We snap back and lecture a spouse or a child for the wrongs, because it’s quickest and letting off steam feels it’s our every right to speak our emotions.

Wrongdoings don’t fit our agenda, order of things and ideas. Things aren’t working out as they are supposed to be. And then, we wrestle with ourselves into getting our joy back on track. Because from the back of our head—our mind and soul—we have a mission to accomplish: Love.

It’s okay to trace back where we’ve left off a few minutes ago, and start all over again—with an apology. And a genuine smile with shining grace goes a long way. 

We have work to do. Acts of kindness and service, where and when God shows us He needs us to be IS ‘Happiness Day’.
