We Are Chosen

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit--fruit that will last--and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16 NIV

We know that Christ chose the disciples first before they came to accept Him as Lord and Savior.

Is there a way we can apply the chosen concept to us today? Christ unconditionally chose to love all of mankind, regardless of who we are. Christ loving chose to sacrifice His life for us that our sins would be forgiven, and we can be united with the Father and the Son and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. So, what do we do with this choosing on the part of Christ? Do we accept His unconditional sacrificial love and live in it, or do we live a worldly life not accepting the fact that He chose to love us and die for us?

If we choose to accept what He has done for us then we are “Chosen”. We are to share the Good News. There are different ways to share the love of Christ. Not even all of them are verbal. We all know that action speaks louder than words.

We are chosen.
