This Tide Shall Not Swallow Me
Sailing through life’s precious boat,
The devil brings in a lot of threat
Just that I may be discomforted & afraid,
He puts in my way a lot of dread
Yet I shall not fear, neither will I be afraid
For the tides of life can never swallow me
God is my strength and fortress forever
A way through the storm, my God has made it for me.
I have laid the foundation of my life,
On Jesus Christ – the Rock of Ages,
His grace will keep me all secure,
Unscathed shall I be in all of my life’s phases.
The devil will be ashamed as none of his schemes will work,
I will sail blissfully with neither a jostle, nor a jerk
For my God is the Driver of all my life’s sail,
With Jesus with me always, I shall never ever fail.
