And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13 NIV

We are representatives of Jesus Christ, doing His work as we walk the narrow path which leads to Him. In representing Him, and in doing His work, we may ask of Him in so doing. And if in faith we believe then we shall receive. What we receive may not be perceived by us to be that for which we ask, but we must remember that Jesus is the One who truly knows what we need and He definitely will provide that we may carry on in His work. In thus doing, the Heavenly Father shall be glorified in the Son.

To do the work of God we need from Christ and He certainly will provide to us if we just ask in His name and believe that we shall receive!
