The Heavenly Father was living within His Son and accomplishing His work in and through the Son. Jesus so gave Himself in obedience to the Father. Nothing which Jesus did was solely of His own accord. It was that which the Father was accomplishing within and through Him.
Thus, it makes much sense that Jesus would tell the disciples that the Father and He were One and that anyone who had seen Him had seen the Father who lived within Him. Can we accept this on faith? Let go of the need to have to understand totally with your mind. How can the human mind grasp all that is of God? It cannot do so.
