As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, "What you are about to do, do quickly." John 13:27 NIV
Only later did John realize that this was truly the moment when the love of Christ was rejected by Judas, allowing Satan to truly enter into and take possession of his mind and heart. There was now no longer any reason for Judas to hesitate in that which he was going to do. The Lord knew all that was forthcoming and told Judas to go ahead with his betrayal action.
Let us not steer away from following the narrow path given to us by our Lord. It is not an easy path to walk, but we are guided by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
