Jesus’ matter of fact statement is made here to magnify the importance of the forthcoming statement to the disciples. He wants to be sure that they in no way miss the importance of what He has to say to them.
Do you feel that sometimes things you hear from Christ have an extra importance to your life? Maybe the Holy Spirit stirred within you something which made you pay extra attention to what you were hearing from the Lord. The Lord has ways for us to understand when there is an extra importance of that which is being communicated. Consider this to be a blessing to you, for that is what it is.
