Jesus tells us that which He does because it came from the Heavenly Father, and it leads the believer to an eternity to be spent in the presence of God. God created Adam and Eve, putting them in the Garden of Eden, providing for them that which they needed, and He desired that they would spend eternity with Him. But we know that Adam and Eve sinned and were cast out of the garden. However, the Father never lost the desire for His creation to spend eternity in His presence. He therefore established the plan for the salvation which was required in order to restore mankind in a state in which man could live in the presence of God. And the salvation came at a huge price, the shedding of innocent blood, the blood of God’s one and only Son. Salvation came through God, in the form of a human, yet God in nature.
