I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. John 12:46 NIV
Jesus Christ is not just a light, but He is the Light, the light which can and does completely pierce the darkness and the evil which lingers within it. All other light is external, but the Light which is Jesus Christ lives within the heart and soul of the believer. The Light guides the believer away from darkness. One cannot live in darkness and hope to survive spiritually. Evil feasts within darkness. Let the love which is in the Light, Jesus Christ, shine within your heart and soul. Let Him guide you away from darkness through the Holy Spirit.
