Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me.” John 12:44-45 NIV

Notice first here that Jesus cried out. He wanted that all who were in the area to know the importance of that which He spoke about. If one knows and follows Christ, they know, honor, and follow the Heavenly Father, as it is He who sent His Son to the earth. One cannot separate the Father from the Son. They are united, truly in one accord. To believe in the Father means that one must also believe in the Son, and also the Holy Spirit, the one who the Father sends to those who believe in the Son. Yes, in seeing Jesus Christ, we are also seeing the Heavenly Father.
