This message will not be my typical brief message so take some time and enjoy.

 This morning in my prayer time I read the first few verses of John 5, which provides the account of Jesus with the paralyzed man at the healing pool. We who read the Bible know that Jesus healed this man and told him to pick up his mat and go home.

 This is truly a heart warming reading. The Holy Spirit put upon my heart and soul to share about this reading, but as to how it applies to us living today.

 Are you well? No, I do not mean are you physically well, but are you spiritually well. Do you know Jesus Christ? I do not mean do you know about Him, but do you really know Him? Have you given your heart and soul to Him? Christ asked the man if he wanted to get better. Today Christ asks each of us, do we want to get better. Here again, I am not referring to physical well-being, but to that of the spirit.

 This world is so lost. People are searching. Many realize that something is just not right with their life. Too many have no idea what the real problem is though.

 The King of Glory stands ready, asking “Do You Want To Get Better?” The betterment that Christ speaks of is one that no human doctor can provide. No one other than Jesus Christ can provide this way of making one better.

 So, I ask you, do you want to get better? If so, there is but one answer, Jesus Christ!

 Now, as for those of us who have been made well by the Lord, those of us who are rooted in the Lord’s love, how do we apply this passage of scripture into our lives? We must share the message of Jesus Christ to a world in need. How could we call ourselves Christians if we just hold onto the blessings given to us by Christ, and not share the message. I would seriously wonder about the credibility of one’s relationship with Christ if His message is not passed on.

 Brothers and sisters in Christ, there is a very lost and sick world of people who need to be healed in mind heart and soul. We know what the answer is to their needs. How can we not share the gospel? We all have gifts given to us by the Lord. Use your gifts and share the needed message!
