Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” John 12:28 NIV

The Father glorifies His name in offering salvation to mankind through the shedding of sacrificial blood by His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. What greater gift could be offered to us than the One who created us let us know that we are forgiven from the fall which came to mankind in the garden of Eden. We, who are born into sin have an escape from eternal torment through God Himself, in the form of Jesus Christ, who came to live with us as a man, like us in manner except for sin.

Do we give glory to God for the gift of salvation which He provides to us? Do we thank Him for providing us with His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, who indwells us and guides us in the will of the Lord? We should never cease in glorifying God, for without Him we truly are spiritually lost souls.
