Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12;25 NIV

Truly this in a paradox. We are so often told to seek gusto in life, to make the most of it, to take pride in what we do and seek for self and family. It is so very easy to get caught up in the worldly trinity of me, myself and I. But in doing this we lose sight of sacred truth. We of ourselves are such a miniscule cog in a world with billions of people. We were not meant to think of self. Christ came and was a servant to all. If God, in the form of flesh did this, are we not meant to do the same?

It is very difficult to let go of self. But, unless one does so they shall not see the Truth in life and shall miss out on an eternity in the presence of God. Let go, and give your whole being to Christ!
