Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. John 12:24 NIV

Christ knew His hour had come. He must make the eternal sacrifice for the salvation of mankind. In dying He gave us the chance to be reconciled to the Heavenly Father through Him. In His death, and our belief, we are indwelled with the Holy Spirit, and become one of the produced seeds of Christ. We then can multiply this by sharing the Good News with others and letting Christ work on their heart to bring them to salvation. None of this would be possible though without first the sacrifice of Christ occurring.

Always give praise to the Lord for the sacrifice He made on our behalf. Through Him we are given eternal life!
