From Old To New

Others are involved in the maturation process of a new Christian. The old needs to be stripped away and replaced by the new. Maturation is sure helped by having a mentor, someone who is further along in the pathway followed in a Christian’s life. The new Christian must be let go, to go away from the old path followed and to now follow Jesus Christ. There will be times when one stumbles and falls, but Christ and His followers will aid in helping the stumbling babe to their feet. Returning to Christ with a repentant heart the new Christian moves on in the maturation process. Remember though that no matter at what stage we are in during our walk with Christ that there will be times when we shall stumble. Christ is always there for us though, ready to restore us and lead us on in His ways!
