The Lord God He is, our all and all
what is there to be down about
No valley's too deep or mountains too high
that He cannot bring us out
No rivers too wide, no oceans too far
No weathers's too cold or hot
No yards too long no heights beyond
his word doesn't stop, or end like a dot
Who dried our tears, who picked us up
Who was it, that calmed our fears
Who was there when thing went wrong
who was with us through the years
We have tasted of him, how come we don't know
He has proven himself to me and you
so how can we be in doubt
When He has always brought us through
In whatever the day that did appear
At the close of night our God was there
and at noon day, when it did come
Still faithful in showing He did care
so, He ask, Who am I, do tell me;
He is the first and the last
In the beginning of days who held our hands
so why now this question we ask;
Again who am I have we not known
Who was with us all those times
Well take a long look and we will see
He didn't once his job resign
when we find ourselves a wondering
and be fretful in our hearts
then it's good to be carried back a moment
to know it was him from the start
