Sending Word To Jesus

So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.” John 11:3 NIV

The sisters of Lazarus knew exactly who to turn to for help. Thus, they sent word to the Lord that their brother, whom Jesus loved along with the sisters, Lazarus was sick.

They expected that Jesus would come and heal their brother. And so now came the wait for His anticipated appearance.

When you are in need do you turn to the Lord, or try to handle the matter in some other way? Know that He is there waiting to provide you with that which you truly need.

Thank you for writing this article. It has a good message and is short and simple.

The only improvement I would make is I would delete 'whom Jesus loved along with the sisters'. This would improve the readability of that sentence.

Also, there should be a comma between 'need' and 'do' in the first sentence of the last paragraph and I would remove the comma between 'Lord' and 'or' in this sentence to improve readability.
