Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” ’? If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside—what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? John 10:34-36 NIV

 Psalm 82:1 speaks of God rendering judgement among the gods. Verse 5 says that the gods know and understand nothing. Then verse 6 reads “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’

 Jesus was sanctified (set apart) by God for the redemption of mankind. This could only be done by deity, the One who although He came to earth in the form of human came from heaven as deity.

 The Father’s perfect plan far exceeds any that man could have possibly dreamt about.
