Why God Made Us Stop

Often we do not get what we desire,

Then we are quick to adorn the mourning attire,

Later we come to know why God made us stop

For He foreknew that there was a danger drop

Trust in Him for all He does,

For He’s the only One Who forever loves

And in His love He sometimes holds us back

Let’s not assume that towards us He’s slack

He always does the best for us,

Yet patiently we need to see it unfold,

For the sun will rise in His right time,

The beauty of His plans then we shall behold.
