 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 NIV

We who belong to Christ listen to His voice by the directing of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit directs us in the Truth, which is Christ Jesus. This world has no truth to offer. Instead it offers lies and deceit, the traits of Satan.

Our Shepherd, Christ, knows each of us. He calls us by name. He knew us when we were in the womb of our mother. We are priceless to Him, and He loves us dearly.

We follow the Lord, as He leads us to true purpose in life. He leads us into pastures. What can this world provide which can begin to compare to what we have in the Lord? There is nothing which this world can provide that can truly nourish the soul. The soul needs God and to commune with God one must do so in spirit, with the indwelling Holy Spirit. We who follow the Lord are given the Holy Spirit as a gift from the Father.
