Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep." John 10:25-26 NIV

Although our Lord may not have directly said to His confronters here that He was the Messiah, through the works He performed and the message He shared there really should not have been a doubt in their minds as to whether or not He truly was the long proclaimed Messiah. They chose not to believe His doctrine, nor His actions, therefore they were not part of the flock which belongs to the Lord. Yes, as Jesus said, these Jews surrounding Him were not His sheep.

Are you part of the flock? Are you one of the Lord’s sheep? Rest in the fact that the shepherd shall always guide you in His ways.
