You Are Speaking With Him

Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.” John 9:37 NIV

Reading this verse of scripture reminds me of earlier in John’s gospel when Jesus spoke with the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well. I wonder what went through this man’s mind at the moment Christ revealed His identity to the man. Did he wonder how it is that the Son of God would choose to heal him and then speak with him personally? But that is how God is. He wishes to have an intimate relationship with each of us. Those who have a heart and soul which seek the truth are awakened at the calling of the Lord. The day we turn our life over to Christ it is changed forever.

Through the Holy Spirit Christ speaks to us. We are so blessed in our Savior!
