The Jewish leaders here looked past their own sin which was right before them, accusing Christ of being something which He was not, a sinner. The only sin that Christ ever bore was the sin of all mankind when He was nailed to the cross. With Him went all the sin of those who would ever believe in Him. He was the perfect sin offering to the Father, atonement that would be found in no other manner. Yes, Christ bore sin, but a sinner He was not.
Do we ever look at the sin of someone else? This is dangerous as our own sin stares right at us. Each of us is in desperate need of a Savior, and that One is Jesus Christ. Turn your life to Him and let sin no longer enslave you!
