Then they turned again to the blind man, “What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.” The man replied, “He is a prophet.” John 9:17 NIV

The Pharisees I am quite sure were frustrated with how things were proceeding. They felt they did not have a resolved situation and there was dissension among those who were gathered around.

In their frustration they turn to the former blind man and asked him his opinion about Jesus. We know it was in frustration. Do you think these Pharisees really cared what this man thought about Jesus? Of course they didn’t care. They knew the law and the man knew nothing, or did he?

Do you spend too much time thinking about what others will think of you when you share the Good News? Keep your eyes focused on the mission, which is sharing God’s word and not trying to earn man’s approval.
