As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” John 9:1-2 NIV
It is interesting that here the disciples are equating blindness with sin in the physical realm. Can one honestly make a correlation between the two?
On the other hand, a rejection of Christ as Savior and Lord, the Son of God is the result of spiritual blindness, and leads the one who so does to live a life enslaved to sin. Therefore, there is definitely a spiritual relationship between blindness and sin.
Do not allow yourself to be spiritually blind. Turn your life over to Christ and be released from the bondage of sin.
