"Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" John 8:58 NIV

Each of us had a time when we came into being, when we were conceived and were born. Christ has always existed though. He had no beginning, and He shall have no end. In Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses “I AM WHO I AM”. God has always been. He has no beginning or end. This is truly what Jesus is referring to in His statement to the Jewish leaders. Whether or not one chooses to recognize the fact, God is who He is and He has always been.
