At this they exclaimed, “Now we know that you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death.” John 8:52 NIV
Again, the leaders resort to calling Jesus demon possessed. The problem actually was that they were all possessed by the one in charge of all the demons, the devil himself. Why were these men so focused on physical death? The reason is that their hearts, minds and souls were already spiritually dead. They were focused solely on that which is of this earth. They could see no further than that concept. Yes, all will see the death of the body, but the soul shall live forever. May you live forever in the presence of God!
