Prove My Teaching False

Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? John 8:46 NIV

If the Jewish leaders could have proven Jesus to be an imposter then they would have grounds for rejecting His testimony. But there was nothing false about Jesus and thus they had no good argument that they could use to disprove His teaching. Jesus was saying that they could not prove Him to be the bearer of false teaching, compared to what they themselves taught. This man Jesus was definitely a threat to these Jewish leaders and that which they taught to the Jewish people.
