Jesus lost many who had at one time followed Him because they could not grasp that which He said. They found His teaching too hard to accept. But the One who sent Jesus to share has always been with Him. He was with Him even at the hour of His death. He did not forsake the Son. He just hated all the sin of mankind that the Son bore on the cross. Jesus truly was the perfect and unblemished sacrifice sent by the Father.
Jesus did always do that which pleased the Father. His life was filled with doing that which the Father had sent Him to do. May we live in obedience to Christ just as He did to the Father.
