No Condemnation

“No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” John 8:11 NIV

The woman now notices that no one stands there to condemn her for her actions, and Christ follows it up by letting her know that He also does not condemn her.

He then tells her that she may leave and that she should also leave her sinful way of life behind her. Christ had given her a clean slate. We know she left the scene, though we do not know if she had a change of heart. It is quite possible she did though as through Christ’s action she had been spared from being stoned.

If you will accept Christ as your Savior you shall be saved from an eternity of torment and destruction. Leave your life of sin for the ways of the Lord.
