Matthew 6:26, Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
During this pandemic period, we have many personal things to worry about, like the certainty of our jobs, debts, multiple bills to pay, our medical benefits, bank investments, the negative status of our businesses, our daily provisions for our families, our unreasonable bosses, our fear for the infection of coronavirus, etc.
These are the things that very common to individual believers that temporarily snatch our joy in God. In this present reality, many people valued so much the importance of temporal things to answer their fears and worries. If we read the statement of Jesus in Matthew 6:26, Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
If you're a true disciple of Jesus, what does it mean for you? Why is Jesus using the analogy of the birds in the air? Who is the more inferior and unique in God's creations? If your thinking as a lesser person in God's eyes and has no capabilities, compare to nature, maybe you are on the wrong side. We often forgot this truth that God created you as a special person in all His creations, and it's God's responsibility to sustain you through His divine and benevolent control.
Therefore, if you're fighting with that unbelief inside your mind every day don't forget to fight back with quoting the promises of God (Philippians 4:19; John 15:7; Psalm 18:2).
