Matthew 6:25, For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Before the pandemic took place, people are too busy with their day-to-day realities to provide their basic needs. No question about this because we need it, but we need to be careful that worldly things will not be the number one priority over our lives. To provide your basic needs, this is how God sustains your life here on earth. But sometimes Christians misremembered the truth about God's providential control because of their fears and worries about death, health, debts, bills, and business opportunities. The physical realities remain the primary focus of their desire.
As we ponder the passage in Matthew 6:25, Jesus clearly emphasizes the importance of your faith to His divine, sovereign, and benevolent control not to worry about your life because He is your creator, provider, and sustainer of all things you need. Your body is not the source of your life nor the temporal things you need in this world but God. Thus, always remember that God is the fountain of your life. God is Omniscient; He knew everything about your past, present, and future; God is Omnipresent, He is with you forever; God is Omnipotent; By His power, He created you and sustained you for the rest of your life.
