Phillip’s response did not even focus on that which was needed. He just spoke of a resource required for a transaction. Well, where was the bread going to be purchased? How would the large amount required be transported? Certainly the disciples could not themselves have carried all the bread that would have been required by themselves. And how would all of this have been accomplished in a timely manner? It was quite apparent that which was required was divine intervention. And yet the disciples were blind to this.

Have you been in a situation where you knew divine intervention was needed? What did you do? What happened? The Lord provides that which we need. Never forget this fact.
