Condemnation Kills, Get Rid of It

Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory? For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. 2 Cor 3:7-9 NAS 

The Old Covenant law of Moses, carved in unforgiving stone, empowered sin (1 Cor 15:56) to bring condemnation and death upon us. Christ's shed blood brought an end to the curse our law-breaking invoked, ratifying the New Covenant, the ministry of God's righteousness, grace, and truth.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Rom 10:4 NAS

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. Rom 8:2 NAS

Believing that we are set free from the ministry of condemnation and death, sets us free from any fear of condemnation by God. 

Even Satan knows this truth, but he still tries to bring condemnation in other ways. He wants our focus on ourselves and not Jesus' perfect sacrifice. He wants us to not forgive ourselves as God has forgiven us, to see ourselves as less than compared to others, and to set up our own rigid laws and rules in life that lead to failure. These all bring condemnation and death to our life. 

If you feel uneasy, unsettled, and troubled, not knowing why, condemnation may have silently slipped into your thoughts. Find out where it is coming from and reject it in Jesus' name. 

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Rom 8:1 NAS

To walk with God, we need to agree with Him. We are forever righteous and free in Christ, and all of our sins have been forgiven and forgotten forever. 

"I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins. Isaiah 43:24 NAS
