Many Followed Him

Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far side of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. John 6:1-2 NIV

Jesus and His disciples crossed over from the west to the east side of the Sea of Galilee. Where did the people come from who followed Him? Many of them, like Jesus, were probably heading toward Jerusalem since the Passover was near. They followed Him having seen the many healing works He had done. How many of these people became true believers, trusting in Him? We have no idea.

Why do you follow the Lord? Is it because of healing? If so I pray that it is your heart and soul that He has healed. Christ is the Father’s only Son. Believe and trust in Him. With Christ you have all that you need!
