Prayers

"Nevertheless not my will but yours be done,"  goes the line from the famous prayer of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane.
Never the less, Father, always the more. Your will represents the more, my will tends to represent the less in life. But you liberate me from the unnecessary sometimes suffocating limits I impose upon myself and also from similar limits others might have attempted to impose on me.
 If You don't want more for me then neither do I want more.
 If less is Your will for me then may I happily settle for less.
 But Jesus, after an honest request, began that next sentence of his prayer with "nevertheless."  And there was once a well known poet whose personal demon ended his poem with the word "nevermore"
in direct contradiction.
