As I Hear I Judge

By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. John 5:30 NIV

Here Christ alludes again to the oneness of the Father and the Son. The Son call only do that which He hears from the Father and is in concurrence with the Father as to that which entails the judgement of the human soul. Christ wishes to please the Father in all which He does. He carries out totally the will of the Heavenly Father.

Do we carry out the will of the Lord? Do we do as He asks of us, or do we seek for ourselves. Just as the Son does that which pleases the Father, so we must do that which pleases the Lord. He has given His all for us. We must give our all for Him. Hear the voice of the Lord and obey!
