And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. John 5:27 NIV
Here again Christ speaks of the authority which He has been given to judge, yet here He speaks of Himself not in the divine sense as Son of God, but in His human nature as the Son of Man. Christ desires for mankind to be in union with Him. Christ emptied Himself of clinging to that which is God in order to be among us as a man, every bit like us except He was sinless. He was sinless that on the cross He might bear all of our sins that through belief in Him, acceptance of Him, and in obedience to Him that we shall be saved. Christ gave everything He had for you. Give your all to Christ!
