For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. John 5:26 NIV
God is the source of all life. Without God nothing would have life which does possess life. Life is in God and originates with Him. God is a living God.
The life which God the Father gives to Jesus is to the incarnate Word and not to the eternal Son who always possessed life as God the Son.
Many walk this earth believing they have life, yet truly it they do not possess. They may eat and breathe, yet they are spiritually dead and thus have no true life within.
God has given you true life. What a blessing!
“Come and see.” Follow the Lord and you will not regret that which you shall receive.
