Apologetics
It has been my experience that any goal or endeavor worth the effort is met with intense resistance or with a series of formidable obstacles.. Those who press through that resistance or those obstacles often find themselves appreciating more deeply the achievement of the goals and enjoying more fully the success of the endeavor (to whatever degree it succeeds). Not only that but maybe more importantly, there are other lives that are affected positively because of their persistence, lives that would not have been touched in that way otherwise. There is a tendency to misterpret the resistance and succumb to the obstacles, and assume that something wasn't meant to be.
