The Father Loves The Son

For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. John 5:20 NIV

The Heavenly Father’s love for the only begotten Son far exceeds that which any human could offer to anyone. God’s love is infinite, everlasting, and beyond compare. This is in the oneness of the Father and the Son.

The Father conceals nothing from His Son. For Christ to do all which the Father does He must be aware of and see all which the Father does, and so is the case.

As for doing greater works than these, referring back to the healing of the man, Christ would raise three from mortal death and He is given authority to judge this world, meaning that we shall all be judged by Jesus Christ. This the Father does not do but has given to the Son.

Let us love our Lord to the best of our ability. Let us do the work He has given to us. Let Christ live in you!
